Computer Memory Upgrades for 2500 Series Router Memory

The Cisco 2500 series of ethernet and token ring routers provide a wide range of
branch office solutions including integrated router/hub and router/access server
models. All Cisco 2500 models include a minimum of 4mb of Flash memory. There
are two types of DRAM memory in the Cisco 2500 series routers: primary and
shared(packet). Primary memory is used to store the operating configuration,
routing tables, caches, and queues. Shared memory is used to store incoming and
outgoing packets. PCW Memory stocks both DRAM and Flash memory upgrades for
Cisco 2500 series routers.
